Well... posting private email to a public list isn't
acceptable...

So I have just set the moderation flag on these addresses
till things clam down...

  dan at aktivix.org
  malatesta_uk at hotmail.com
  worldwarfree at riseup.net
  cuthbert at riseup.net

What this basically means is that email that is sent from
these addresses won't be immediatly be sent out to
everyone but it will be held for approval, this will
probably result in a delay of up to 6 hours (less
generally) for mails that are not out of order and ones
that are won't be let through.

Personally I don't like moderating lists and I hoped this
wouldn't be needed...

I expect that almost no email will be blocked - someone
who has been moderated for posting to imc-sheffield for a
year or two has only ever had one email blocked...

If people are not happy about this then I suggest that the
next mondy meeting can select a team of list admins who
can take over running this list...

PS There is lots of stuff out there about email
etiquette... The Netiquette Guidelines RFC is now over
10 years old but still good:

   And this is relavent..

If somebody sends you information or ideas by email,
you should not assume that you have their permission
to reproduce that information in a public forum
(discussion group, USENET newsgroup, chat site etc.)
Email is one-to-one for a reason: it is designed for
personal communication. Unless you are explicitly
told otherwise, always assume that email you receive
has a big "PRIVATE" stamp on it -- so don't spread it
     around!
