[matilda] email list autonomy

I think there are problems with the Monday meeting
structure and the amount of things we have to get
through. One solution may be for the meeting to break
up into say 3 or 4 groups and deal with certain
issues/proposals.

we could have done that last night and we could have
got through alot more things - groups of 4 or 5 people
could have had 45 mins to deal with things and then
bring them back to the main group for the remainder of
the meeting for consensus.

if we decided that there were 4 topics that needed
urgent attantion then we could have split into groups
to deal with that.
e.g.
1 group on inclusivity
1 group on who we are
1 group on new proposals
1 group on building work

I think there needs to be greater diversity of action
on a Monday night rather than everyone in a big
meeting when I think we can trust each other to be
reasonable in smaller groups.

This also comes into the inclusivity aspect which d
brought up. autonomous groups will be able to post
notices etc onto a notice board if we had one and that
would perhaps keep out the report from groups if a
note from each group was to be posted onto the
noticeboard every Monday.

just a few thoughts
