Just a bit of feedback from a would-be punter, while you're navel-gazing
about it...

I turned up about 1, having been doing a bit of DJ'ing myself at another
bash. I really wanted to see Ceefax, not least because one of the guys
is the nephew of an old friend of mine (& the younger bro' of
Squarepusher BTW) The guy on the door was totally cool but explained
that the place was full and no-one else was getting in. I hang around
for a while on the off-chance, had a chat with various people, got
offered a can of beer. Various pissed students were wandering past
trying to work out what was going on and trying to get in, and again the
guy on the door managed the situation very well. Eventually I got bored
and wandered home, vowing to get there earlier next time. My friends who
were in said it was a blinding gig, and I can't stress enough how much
we need that to happen in the sanitised & formulaic entertainment world
we have today. Incidentally there was very little noise getting out of
the building, unlike some of the other establishments in the area.

So I'd really recommend that you work out a way of doing this that
keeps everyone happy - it's a great way of getting people involved and
getting the message across about what you're doing. More power to ya.

Simon
