Having said that I agree with you, easy to miss, could do better.

We now have the announcements list so things like meetings, events
etc. could go onto that list from now on which would make things very
clear.

Having said that I don't particularly want full responsibility for
posting everything - sometimes I may not even be around. So if someone
else can help out please let me know.
