It seems the French Student/protestors have won their
battle to repeal the CPE labour law, though one cannot
yet know if they will bring it in through the back
door and even if the students will not demand more


btw, any talks planned on the issue, S from Lille
could come back and do eyewitness event, etc..

France to scrap youth job law

Millions have joined protests across France against
the job law French President Jacques Chirac has
announced that the new youth employment law that
sparked weeks of sometimes violent protests will be
scrapped.
