Thanks Nick. its good to know that there is an option. the Art 05 event in
total, cost About £60, half of that went on the beer. a majority of the
other half went on publicity while the remainder went on tidying the place
up.

but there is an unresolved issue, in that Matilda agreed and enforced the
decision that it would not financially support Art 05 or projects like it in
the future. the issue is that the logic and reasoning behind this decision
was never explained to me, even though i have asked several times and I'm
asking again. as such i have no idea why art projects about matilda, by
matilda, for matilda, failed to be financially supported by Matilda. i don't
understand why Matilda believes that money spent on creating Matilda and
publicising the space should be footed by the Individual.

the whole point of Art 05 was to start to create an infrastructure for
artistic and creative opportunities for the people who are denied them in
the mainstream because they lack the skills and money.

because of this decision I'm confused as to what Matilda is and what it
believes in. i thought Art 05 was every thing that Matilda is. i would love
to continue but i cant, because one, i don't have the money and two, i don't
know what the criteria as to which projects Matilda believes it should or
should not support and the way forward it wants to go.

the question is, under this new structure would the Art 05 event have been
financially supported? if not, why not?

And in answer to Dan's question, no the money wouldn't be spent on Artists
fees, it would go on exactly the same thing it went on before, Matilda!!
