Hello every one,

I got a job the other day up here in Newcastle, at Amber Side, a
non-hierarchy Arts Collective that has been around since '67. they
specialise in Documentary film and photography with a political and
community edge.

the current photo show is 'El Salvador, 30 photographers', it looks at the
human cost to the civil war that happened there in the late 70's early 80's.
in March they are holding the 14th Tyneside radical film festival. again
this is about the politics in Latin America.

the job i got myself is to sort out their collection of over 300 hundred
photo and film books for the public to use as a free resource. the books are
mental, there is an issue of Race and Class that has an essay the looks at
Indiana Jones and the temple of Doom as a metaphor for Americas foreign
policy!! madness!!!
