This is all by the by, really. The main thing is what the police are
doing right now.
If I'd seen what they saw on 23rd, I'd currently be seeking out the
owners of the building and demanding to know what the f**k they thought
they were doing.
(Oh, hang on, I did see what they saw. Er... I mean, 'If I were a
copper, and I'd seen what they'd seen.' Er...)
That's the rub - not what we think, but what attention we've drawn to
ourselves, and as a consequence, what's likely to happen.
And that, for me, is the main reason for not having anything other than
events that
a) finish at 1-2 and
b) are only organised by the gig collective, coz they seem to be capable
of not getting wasted when they're supposed to be helping run a night...!
