Now that someone has raised the point,
i just remembered the only day i contributed as a cook to Matilda, and
that's to say thanks to 0742, who was as usual gentle in advising me
about the kitchen in general, it was really nice to meet 0742 before
starting cooking. Then, it looked clear that it was an astonishing
achievement to have the kitchen space working all these weeks for the
social thursdays and so, under the current conditions, which were as i
was made to understand:
1. cook to provide ingredients for meal: a previoius donation of 10
pounds or so was necessary, but there was food available from last week,
so food was cooked despite myself being skint at the time (:-()

2. cook to cook, serve, etc (better a team, then).
3. cook to wash afterwards or arrange for washing up
4. cook to have monies reimbursed to cook (for previous investment) at
the end of day, perhaps.

Then, adding up the time necessary (about 3 hours without including the
social time itself, at least), some 30-50 pounds were to be invested as
individual/collective effort of the cooking persons each Thursday. But i
couldn't figure out any other way to have this reimbursed than by
increasing the price of donations.
