Well the darlings of Sheffield at this moment took Rave Cave at Matilda to
a new place.. of course we are talking about Chora what it must have been
like to walk into the front entrance, a nice vibrant red; 1920s style
black leather sofa; radio three playing Mozart..

The red continued as you submerged into the Rave Cave, a front room had
emerged where Cora had taken home in front of two very comfey sofas was
their electronics and drum kit. on they came, took you into a very
pleasent trance then came band no2 sorry guys i have not got your name but
you was just as powerful and your first time then it was unexpected.

Clara Clara began the sonic attack, the bass wobbled the room your insides
turned upside down: a snare, a bass drum and symbal, not miked, with weird
noise from a keybord took YOU home to tommorrow and who knows where else
(i have a music hangover today) then just to add to the madness, all
bands, promoters and myself sat til four eating some very real and nice
food,

The Roots on the player and other tunes just rounded off another night of
changing and making history. oh, add to this the Vegan Choc Cake, other
Vegan Sweets and a Punk serveing those who had won the raffle their prize
with Thank you, Sir and Madam..

Just another strange night at Matilda Social Centre whatever the future
might be for Matilda, don't matter that much to myself i have got
http://pretentiousartist.com fully working (well almoust the archive still
needs work) which would not have happend without Matilda had some very
real wonderful moments and no doubt more thanks to the Gig Collective.

This Saturday is the last Electric Blanket at the Blind Institute, (to be
knocked down for more student fltas) all this without canabiss, neither
drink. have you seen Sheffield, it is changing before our eyes: Open them
and embrace this change, of course all change will have an amount of fear
and anticipation however i see the very real positive,

All i ask is will nature make a man of me? yet i would go out tonight but
one is hungover, in a trance-like state, this charming man needs his
sleep.. thank you to all involved in last night's gig, it was wonderfull:
