Hi all,

Just a reminder that we have Si Kahn with us on Thursday evening. This is an Open Workshop so anyone can come. It would be good if people can be there from 7.30pm.

It will also be an opportunity to meet two interesting guests from the States. Randy Schutt and his partner Susan Helper.

Susan is Professor of Economics at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. Her research looks at the auto industry and the bargaining power of different types of firms and workers. She is currently examining the impact of both e-commerce and of investment in Mexico. She is on sabbatical here for a year and is also working with an auto workers union in the States in a court case to prevent the outsourcing of jobs.

Randy leads workshops in non-violent direct action and also in consensus decision making www.vernalproject.org . 

They are both very interesting and keen to meet activists over here. IF ANYONE HAS THE EMAIL LINK TO THE FOLKS AT THE MATILDA SOCIAL CENTRE PLEASE CAN YOU MAKE SURE THIS IS PASSED ON.
