*Yorkshire ArtSpace is inviting applications from visual artists and 
makers with an interest in and/or experience of working within the arts 
& health sector to undertake an 8-week residency at Persistence Works in 
Sheffield. *

The opportunity will give the resident artist access to space, time and 
funding to focus on a particular line of enquiry and research and 
develop ideas within their own practice that are pertinent to the field 
of arts & health. The selected artist must be willing to share and allow 
access to their work and findings during the residency period.

The artist will be provided with a substantial studio space within the 
Persistence Works studio complex, a fee of £5000, costs towards 
accommodation and up to £2000 towards materials and/or production. The 
residency takes place between 12 June and 4 August 2006 (30 days minimum 
requirement.)

Closing date for applications is 5pm Friday 14 April 2006
Interviews will take place on Thursday 27 April 2006
