[pagan-magik] DEC 23rd (this Thurs) John Crow's Boneyard

As this Thursday is the 23rd Dec, an Asherah Festival,
I contacted John Constable to see if he was honoring 
his 'whore goddess' (known to be associated with
Asherah by him) on this date, as he has every other
23rd of the month. Alas he is on Exmoor for Yule, but
has given his blessing to the event going on without
him this month (as long as we are respectful of the
tradition and people there). I thus propose an
honouring of the goddess (and the whores and paupers
of old Southwark buried at the site) with a
rememberance of Asherah there (7pm Redcross Way /
Union St junction near Borough tube), so that as well
as helping the continuation of John's project (partly
to see the site preserved as a garden and future
meeting place), we can also continue a little more
with the 'Jerusalem Project'. A couple of people from
the list have said they will be present, I also hope
Lilith can attend, and Spacegirl will definitely be
helping with the music. The site is also a regular
gathering point on the 23rd for the Southwark
Mysteries supporters.

I hope many more of you who are able to can come
along. The event will be a short and simple
comemoration (John likes people to leave personal
offerings etc, so I'll leave a stone from the Temple
of Solomon there) and a meditative rite followed by a
departure to the pub which may also be useful.
