Ok. I feel it is an appropriate time for me to comment on this situation.

The PMA resulted from a series of actions and events coincided to take place during the ESF (As part of the Alternative ESF), by a loose affiliation of groups including The Dionysian Underground, HYDRA, The Serpentine Institute, Dragon Network, Reclaimers and others.
As a member of both the DU and Hydra, and a founder member of the PMA - whose origins were founded in the meetings of representatives of the above groups at the RFH (Royal Festival Hall), all of whom came together to propagate events/actions of a magickal/anarcho nature during the ESF, and beyond.
This small group of dedicated pagan/magickal activists were able to generate the birth of just such a current which later evolved into the formation of what we now know as the PMA.

The 'baby' PMA we gave birth to in those first few weeks of working at the RFH has now grown into a small child with the welcome addition of many new members. However like many such groups we still find ourselves experiencing teething problems. This, i believe, is a necessary element in the formation of an anarcho group based as we are on group consensus
.
Let me assume a variety of masks temporarily to assist in the dissemination of understanding:

Mask number One - As a founder member, and from one perspective(assuming one mask) i could quite easily find myself becoming disturbed by the direction the group is taking. For example i now find myself communicating to fellow group members through an e-mail list to which neither myself, nor any of the other founder members (all of whom i know personally), have any access. The only access to the list, on a moderator level, is by someone i know only as 'nina', and solely from e-mail. Now with the greatest respect to yourself Nina, i do not know who you are. Bugger! For all i know you could work for a government agency (Paranoia you may say) - Yes I agree, remember though, i am simply wearing a mask at this moment and viewing the situation from one perspective.
However it would be remiss of me to not consider this possibility. How do we know that the information sent to the list is not being moderated in some way?

Mask number two - Assuming the mask, or identity of a member who joined the group during our original activities at the ESF - for example, Nina (Sorry babes, yet you have put yourself in the spotlight here a bit. Comes with the territory unfortunately. However i feel you are strong enough to take it. Big hug and lots love).
With this mask on, looking at the situation from this perspective, i now see what on the surface appears to be a struggle for power, or control of the list and a lack of confidence, or trust, in myself.

Mask number three - A new member: Having joined the list since its inception on the activix/groups/list. I find myself wondering what the fuck is going on. "Sort it out dudes and get on with it. Put your housekeeping in order and let's us get on with the action."

In conclusion, i feel we need to find a way to move forwards with this issue. For myself i feel it is important that the group have several 'moderators'. Not in the sense that any of them would actually moderate the site, more to ensure that the operation and management of the site is open to scrutiny. As such i would ask Nina that she make available the keys to Steve, as well as consensually elected members of each of the other founding groups (As suggested by Sean). I would therefore suggest that each of the other groups involved in the conception of this project 'elect' a key holder themselves and make this person known to the group and Nina so this can sharing of the keys can occur.

yours in service
