LONDON RISING TIDE FILM NIGHT

'The Oil Factor, Behind The War On Terror'

This new documentary examines the link between oil interests and current U.S. military interventions. It includes original footage shot over a four-month period in Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as many interviews with a large array of personalities including Bush administration officials. It has been over 3 years since the Bush administration began its large scale bombing of Afghanistan, kicking off the so-called war on terror. Osama bin Laden remains at large, tens of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

'Don't Worry' - Some highly impressionable puppets investigate oil industry greenwash.

Plus Two short films...

'Art Not Oil' (3mins) - LRT try out lock-ons at the BP-sponsored National Portrait Gallery.

And...

'The Conspiracy of Traffic' by Leo Murray (3mins) (Scary and brilliant!)

All are welcome to the free screening, followed by a discussion and something to eat. This will be a space to learn, debate and share ideas for action on issues raised by the films.
