[pagan-magik] Initiatives required

I have a couple of suggestions and a few insights to offer regarding the Tsunami and it's after effects and what we can do to help. I haven't posted before now as have been putting all my energy into a special ops project i was involved in over the Christmas period that was designed to marry the Christian and Goddess currents.
This involved bringing the Lord Jesus Christ to the Altar of the Goddess and offering him up to her in a sacred marriage, Hieros Gamos.
As you will undoubtedly be aware such an enterprise required all my attention, and was in my opinion of more importance in the long term than diverting my energies and workings towards the current situation in the Indian Ocean.
I would like to say that the initial working on this long-term project was most succesful.

Regarding the Tsunami:

An understanding of the bio-magickal causes underlying the Tsunami is my opinion essential to all magickally active ecologists and activists.

It is important to remember that The Earth is a living entity. That it is a biosphere most would accept. However it is more than this, it is also a spiritual being, The Goddess, Earth Mother, Gaia, or Baphomet if you prefer. Although strictly speaking Baphomet is more than simply Gaia, for it is also the totality of evolutionary experience and as such re-combines the current evolutionary expressions of machine and computer technology with the bio-organic/inorganic and spiritual aspects we usually associate with Gaia.

When we see the Earth (Gaia) as a living and 'aware' organism then events such as the Tsunami take on an altogether different light. It is my belief that such occurences will increase in frequency over the coming years as Gaia reacts to what has essentially become a lethal virus. That virus is Homo Sapiens. 

We, as a species, are destroying the planet and as such She is reacting as would any organism to a hostile threat, by fighting back.
I have seen this immune system response taking many forms over the past twenty years: 
For example one could consider HIV/AIDS to be a natural immune response of the Biosphere to what is essentially a lethal virus - Us.
Then there is the increase in drug and alcohol addiction - This also i consider to be viral and one which can lead to only one of two outcomes:  
Death, or a spiritual awakening. 
Either way She wins. 
If death, then the virus (Homo Sapiens) is Eradicated. If a Spiritual Awakening then the virus is mutated into a more benign form.

As a species we have two choices. 
We either evolve spiritually and awaken to a new awareness of True Being, and the interconnectedness of all things:
Or we continue as we have been and face the destruction of both ourselves and the planet we depend upon for our survival.

To return to the situation re the Tsunami:

One cannot expect an event of this magnitude not to affect very sentient being on the planet who is spiritually or magickally aware/awake. I for one have felt the effects of it, experiencing a definate psychic upheaval and deep emtional pain and anguish. 
I believe a healing such as Sara suggested would be invaluable. A Tsunami of Healing orginating at the location of the original Earthquake and spreading out across the entire planet.

I do not consider using magick to act against the outbreak of disease etc to be the most appropriate way to expend our energy. Disease and the many other practical problems associated with the after effects of this disaster would be, I believe, best dealt with on a more mundane level. 

As such I would like to suggest the creation of a sigil and mantra that can be used to create said Tsunami of Healing. we could time it for some time sunday night when HYDRA will be meeting and as such be able to gather all the energy put into the Sigil and direct it towards the nexus of the physical Tsunami and visualise it spreading out across the planet.

In writing this it occurs to met that my current project of bringing the Christian Patriach in the form of Lord Jesus Christ to the altar of The Goddess in a sacred marriage, and their union, which involves Jesus Christ (And through him God the Father), being put into the service of The Goddess, domesticated if you like, to be the only viable long term solution.
For it is, in my opinion, the Patriachal religions total disdain for the Divine Feminine, The Goddess, that has led humanity along the evolutionary path we now find ourselves on.

If the Patriach is not brought into the service of the Goddess, then events such as these will only increase in frequency. Remember, We are a Virus. Ghaia is only doing what any living organism would do when attacked by a lethal virus. 
As such it is our responsibility to work towards the global healing and Spiritual Awakening of our species in every way possible. 

I am aware many of you will share my thoughts on this matter, even if you disagree with some of my conclusions. Others may find my views challenging. All I ask is that you take the time to consider the big picture. Humanity is at a crossroads in its evolution. We need to look to the future and decide What future we want to leave for our ancestors. 
As we enter this New Year let us All work together to ensure that their is a future for both the Earth and our Species, a Harmonious one.

re the Tsunamis all I can think of is the
visualisation of Neptune's trident withdrawing into
the ocean (intent - to prevent larger aftershocks than
the kind that happened in Sumatra this afternoon) not
sure of an image to prevent disease (Chlorea has
already broken out in some areas).
Maybe we should just do our own visualisations over
the weekend. 

The lack of initiatives on this list/network is
forcing me to consider it a failure alas. Hopefully
things will change in the New year, but as I replan my
own agendas for the New Year I'm beginning to think
that this 'network' isn't worth the energy.
