Thanks, Ian. I couldn’t have said that better. I’d add
it’s also possible to have more than one feeling about
a given event, so I’m both alternatingly pleased about
some millionaires getting their ‘just deserts’ and
saddened by all deaths and loss in the tragedy
(including millionaires). I believe we are all equal
in potential, but have to live with the consequences
of our actions. And what really counts is action not
thoughts or feeling.

I’d also like this list to be open to every possible
idea and expression with nothing being taboo.

I’m certainly going to that poetry event, its been in
my diary for several days, it would be good if some of
us could meet up afterwards and/or before (though I’m
a bit busy earlier). 

On Mithras, George is our ‘expert’ there (you out
there frater?) as this is his specialist area. I’ll
read the links a little later. It might relate to my
yuletide research expose of Christianity, I’ve even
surprised myself by how much of this is ‘bogus’.  

And hopefully the lull IS seasonal.
