[Radical_childcare] the statement

hi all,

sorry its a day late, my brain has had a mind of its own this week!!

anyway, attached is what i could put together in the time i had. i
normally go thru things with fine tooth comb, but hope to leave it to you
lot to do that! theres prob some stuff that could be shortened/thats
slightly repeated, and i couldve gone on and on about this issue, but just
stuck to the main ones. please edit to your hearts content!

the main thing that i was trying to keep in mind is not to sound like we
are 'attacking' cc for being unchildfriendly/not provideing their own
kidspace, which sometimes can sound like that if we are reading out a
'statement' of our beliefs etc to a particular group.

therefore, please can people edit the statement in relation to this. it
might be good to have a general statement that we just have for all
situations, and also edit a more shinyhappypeople one that is more
lighthearted and positive to encourage/welcome other activist groups...
