A few good news & info:
- looks like we're going to get a 35ft round tent (marquee man has booked it for us but hasn't yet seen it, so this is on the provision that it is in good nick, otherwise we'll have the square marquee)
- central kitchen are happy to provide us with the ingredients for our baking/bread-making workshops - out of the central food budget.
- a few other workshops have been confirmed, singing, dancing & consensus-decision making. Still awaiting a reply from a couple of others. Also looks like we might just have nice bedtime accoustic music/singing sessions every evening 8-9pm. Still in need of storytellers though... but it can all be improvised on the spot by anyone who wants.
- bicycology will most prob be running a bike-maintenance for kids workshop in the kidspace & will definitely be bringing kids bikes.

Also I spoke to Action Support re. perhaps organising something. The way i see it, as some pre-camp preparation is necessary, we could work on a few options that we then take to the big kidspace meeting to be decided by consensus. Anyone has other ideas ? Maybe we could talk about this in more details on the 3rd if everyone's interested ?

Finally, main workshop team has communicated the standard break & meal times. I have tried to fit all the workshops in these spaces, if only because i don't see how else they would publish our workshop times in the big timetable grid in the camp's leaflet. It does not mean that we'll have to strictly adhere to these. Please have a look at the new google doc ('final timetable') & let me know what you think (& tell me if you can't access google doc, i can email it as an attachment).
Gemma, because of morning time constraints & since they're both natural craft activities, anna suggested that perhaps we could advertise both her & your workshops for the same start time. Then they could either be run simultaneously or their start times could be slightly staggered. We should have enough space to do this & because of the open nature of the kidspace it will all be more drop-in than closed workshops so it shouldn't be a problem having them both run at the same time. What do you think ?

Brunel, I put on breadmaking/baking every morning (except the first & last). But Marlene will be happy to help with/or even take on the baking on at least one of those days & It shouldn't be difficult to find other enthusiasts among all our foodie friends to do more. So don't feel you have to do them all. Speak to you later about the oven.

And last thing if anyone has an idea for a catchy name for the first workshop (decorating the space) please change it, i don't much like the one i came up with! Also, the last column has intentionally been left blank for self-organizing during camp.

Final workshop schedule needs to be handed in by Friday afternoon for printing. Then we can finally move on to other things :)
Also spoke to finance guy this weekend, budget still very tight, roughly 60% of what it was last year (£300) but there is still potential for this to increase.
