hi all,
had wicked time at camp, think it went really well, although ive got some
niggles too, def up for meeting for debreif: do we know if this will be a
weekend or weekday? i think as the last few meetings have been weekends we
suggested that we should do a monday/other meeting this time?
cnat do 12th childcare im afraid as its my neices bday, but definately use
the tat, we should make it clear to all that its for everybody to use
(thats my understanding).
as some people know, resulting from my personal experiences at this years
camp and knowledge of past camps, i have become very vary of the climate
camp 'PR media circus' and am very untrusting of how 'some members' are so
willing to put kids in danger in expense for their own 'brand name'
credibilities. we can discuss this in more detail in our meeting, and i
dont want to put other people off the idea of the 'swoop' stuff but i
definately think its a bad idea!
we do have a kids at climatecamp email address but this wouild mean keeping
it going and checking it etc- is this necessary? can we give the radical
childcare email address? (not to the list but just to the single email).
think we all did a fab job of the kidspace and had a few comments that it
was the best ever! the kids march was also great fun for kids n us!
