Hey all,

Thanks for coming and making Monday's planning event happen!

We decided to focus a series of events on the 24th-26th November. The full
list of these events, along with contact details for the 'ball-roller', is
at the end of this email. If you want to help organise any of the events,
drop them an email.

Before the next meeting, each 'activity group' should start thinking and
planning for their event. Work towards writing a short paragraph that can
explain to the rest of the free-school (that's all of us!) what your event
is - imagine you are trying to persuade other people to attend. Start
thinking about where and when you are going to hold the event, who it is
aimed at, potential 'legal' implications, and any potential problems that
you need the rest of the group to help with.

This infomation needs to be brought to the next meeting on Monday 8th
November, from 6-8pm. We have yet to get a room but we will send that out as
soon as we have. It's really important at least one member from each group
comes. If no one from your activity group can make it pease drop an email to
info at reallyopenuniversity.org with the infomation you woul be bringing to
the meeting.

The primary aim of the meeting is start sorting the logistics for what is
shaping up to be a wicked 3 days.

If you weren't able to be at the event, then don't worry! Our work in
transforming the university has only just begun - drop an email to one of
the 'ball rollers' if you want to get involved with planning one of the
events. If you think you've got an event you would like to host, then start
planning it now! Bring along a paragraph explaining it to the next meeting,
and tell the rest of the free-school about it.

We also need to think about publisity and funding for publicity. If you have
any graphic skills or want to help out with publisity/money contact
info at reallyopenuniversity.org

As always, make sure you get your friends, students, lecturers and
co-workers involved with the planning.

With a bit of effort this is going to be big!
