   Hi,

please find attached a program for a FREE outdoor festival to celebrate
Workers Memorial Day (28th April) and International Workers Day (May 1st) a
little earlier than usual. The event will be on Saturday (28th) in Urban
Gardens in the centre of Bradford, starting at 1130. The event will be
family – friendly (see the attached program for details) there will be
food, campaign stalls, street theatre, a bar run by the 1in12 social club
and 2 stages featuring a mix of music until 10-00 PM including some of
Bradford’s finest local legends (see you at the front for Natural Rhythm!)
– and even the weather forecast is set to be dry for the day.

The event is non party political and is to remember workers killed,
disabled, injured or made unwell by their work, as well as to celebrate the
international labour movement, and as such there will be a minutes silence
at 1200, as well as speeches in the Bradford Memorial Garden at the rear of
the City Hall, including UNISON Regional Offficer Marion Peritt.

This is all free, funds to run the festival are by donations of time,
equipment and money by the organisations involved as well as a lot of
individual volunteer effort so any donations are welcome to help support
this event.

There is also a Facebook event link here,
http://www.facebook.com/events/170330736420286/ just don’t forget to look
at it in your own free time.
