Mediation Sheffield (MESH)
Present.

An introduction to Community Mediation for asylum seekers and refugees

Mediation is a process for resolving disagreements in which an impartial
third party (the mediator) helps people in dispute to find a solution
they are both happy with. This will be a session looking at how
mediation works and what being a mediator entails. This will be a
potential introduction to a training course that we will be holding in
January. We are looking for volunteer mediators (in the Sheffield area)
who are refugees or asylum seekers with a good level of spoken English
and are keen to mediate in community mediation cases.
