*BikeIt May Day Ride!*
Saturday, May 1st
Meet: DeWitt Park at 12:45pm, leave at 1pm sharp.
20-30 mile ride.
Return to Commons in time for May Day concert/rally/speakers at 3:30!


Join BikeIt, the 500-mile ride from Ithaca to the US Social Forum in Detroit
(www.bikeit.org) for a lovely bike ride into the farm country of Freeville,
and back in time to join the May Day rally and concert on The Commons!  Meet
at DeWitt Park at 12:45—1pm sharp leave time. Ride will take us up the East
side of the lake into the lovely rolling hills of Lansing and Freeville:
total is 28 miles. Moderate ride, approximately 13 mph rolling average. No
drop. An option for a shorter and easier ride possible—please contact
bikeit2010 at gmail.com if you are interested. We’ll roll onto the commons in
time for the speakers and musicians at the Ithaca May Day Celebration: A day
of action to advocate for the rights of workers and immigrants!
