[ShareTompkins] 17th Annual Compost Fair May 1, and Plant Swap

The Master Composters of Tompkins County will host the 17th Annual Compost
Fair on Sunday, May1st, 2011 from 12pm - 4pm.
The Compost Fair is being held in conjunction with the 4-H Duck Race, which
takes place from 10am - 4pm at the same location.

Compost Fair attendees will learn how to turn food and garden waste into
usable and nutrient-filled material. Activity stations will provide hands-on
experience and lots of information on the what can be composted, types of
bins to use, how to build a bin and when to turn a compost pile.

Activities, food, plant swap, and live music promise fun for the whole
family!

The Compost Fair is free and open to the public!
