Garden on Saturday August 6th!*

1-4 pm @ the Ithaca Children's Garden



Tons of hands-on activities from exploring the wetland stream to eco-arts,
garden tours and habitat-building. Birthday cake and ice cream,  face
painting, music making, and much more. Nate & Kate Kids show!  Authors Anne
Mazer and Lee Welles!  The event is free, fun and appropriate for all ages.

Adopt a Wild Bird that will live forever in the Ithaca Children's Garden.
Choose from 17 one-of-a-kind artistically rendered birds:

Red-winged, Blackbird (male & female), Bluebird, Starling, Robin,
Mockingbird, Warbling Vireo, Great Blue Heron, Bald Eagle, Osprey, Purple
Finch, Goldfinch, Baltimore Oriole, Brown Thrasher, Blue Jay, Cardinal,
Catbird.  Already Adopted:  Bluebird, Mockingbird, Cardinal, Catbird, Great
Blue Heron and Goldfinch


Adopted birds will be placed in their permanent habitat, on the child-sized
bird house at the Ithaca Children’s Garden on Hatchday, August 6.
Recognition will appear inside the bird house. Adoption fees start at $100.
