> The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) is currently recruiting diverse participants to take part in a Talking Circles on Race and Racism™ group session. The Talking Circles program is a great opportunity for community members to have a frank and respectful dialogue while offering room for self-reflection, sharing experiences, and influencing each other's perspectives and attitudes on race and racism. We are currently offering the following Talking Circles during the summer (please see below for more details on each Talking Circle):
>
> · Community-Based Talking Circle (Mondays - 6/30 to 7/28 from 6:30 - 8:30p)
> · Faith-Based Talking Circle (Thursdays - 7/3 to 7/31 from 6:30-8:30)
>
> MRC brings together a diverse group of people who make a commitment to meet together for five weekly sessions to deepen the level of our community-wide conversations on race and to provide a safe space for each of us to consider taking action steps. I hope you'll plan to join us for this important dialogue. All sessions will be led by skilled facilitators trained by TFC Associates. MRC provides refreshments and child care, if needed. All sessions will be held in a downtown location.
>
> Space is limited to 16 participants. To register for a round one Talking Circle please call Fabina B. Colon at 272-2292 ext. 191, or email mresource.center at cornell.edu
>
> MRC is seeking a good mix of gender, racial and ethnic identities. We understand that many of us have inter-racial, trans-racial, multicultural families, as well as white families and families of color.
