> The Southside Community Center still needs volunteers to assist with our annual Juneteeth Festival. Juneteeth is a celebration of the abolition of slavery and the emancipation of African Americans in the U.S.

> This year's event takes place on Saturday, June 21st.

> Depending on the shift, volunteers will help with set-up, operating various activities, maintenance, break-down, and clean-up. We have four shifts that we are looking to fill:

> Shift 1 is from 8am-12 noon (set up and maintenance)

> Shift 2 is from 12 noon-3pm (activity operation and maintenance)
