There are two upcoming Active Hope in a Changing Climate workshops:
Saturday, May 13, 2017, 9 am- 4 pm
Saturday, June 10, 2017, 9 am- 4 pm
Active Hope is about helping us process and move through our feelings of despair, anger, grief, shock and disbelief about the state of the planet in order that we be able to go forth and each do our piece of good work toward moving in healthy and sane directions as a human species.
Active Hope is a unique and effective framework based on transformational group and interpersonal activities that help us dig deep within ourselves in order to connect deeply with others, find our own inner truths and powers, and greet our interconnectedness with all life on Earth. Active Hope helps engender individual and community EMPOWERMENT!
These workshops are based on the Work That Reconnects which has been developed, honed, and taught worldwide by Joanna Macy and her colleagues since 1978.
If you are interested in attending, please register! Even though the workshops are free- it really helps to know how many people to expect.
Workshops are held at the First Unitarian Society of Ithaca, Annex building at 208 Buffalo St. (*please note: this is not a religious workshop!)
