> 1. Talk with hundreds of festival-goers at our compost education booth, campsites, etc.
> 2. Swap out compost buckets at food vendors and other stations around the festival

> 3. Support the Compost Recycling Trash (CRT) crew with some of their sorting tasks

> Last year we collected 8,000 pounds of food scraps and significantly reduced waste stream contamination!

> To make this work, we need a solid crew of Master Composters, seasoned Grassroots compost crew volunteers, and other compost enthusiasts! 28 to be exact (+ coordinators). Volunteers work two 5-hour shifts at the festival, and attend a pre-festival orientation meeting on Wednesday, July 18th from 6-8pm for a total of 12 hours.
