> Just wanted to share a new statewide program called Solar for All <https://www.nyserda.ny.gov/All-Programs/Programs/NY-Sun/Solar-for-Your-Home/Community-Solar/Solar-for-All> that provides a free subscription to a community solar farm to income eligible NYS residents who pay their electric bill. Income limits are the same as SNAP/Food Stamps, HEAP, etc (income under $53,500 for a family of four). This is for renters and homeowners--you just have to pay a NYSEG electric bill. Participants get connected to a solar farm in the region (a Nexamp farm being built by Seneca Lake), and get awarded $10-15 in credits on their bill. No additional bill. No fees to sign up or cancel. No strings attached. THis is NOT an ESCO.

> My colleague Erica and I, as well as a team of volunteer Energy Navigators, are happy to help people with the application process, including providing paper applications
>
> They are approximately 10,000 slots for participants across the state. While the farm is not yet currently built, people who sign up now will be on the list and ready to be connected to the farm (and get the credits) once it is completed later this year.
