Made my initial donation based on my new economic status as retired! It seemed to work fine my end so hopefully the money is now in the SCC account and not somewhere in Nigeria or Australia.

Hello,

I've had a go at setting up the membership page and the method of payment.

As Jennifer found out, it's not as straightforward as we'd like. I've
had to provide a list of amounts to pay each month, rather than letting
people enter an amount. For some reason, PayPay won't let you decide how
much to pay on a monthly basis. The only way to do this is to donate a
one-off payment.

I've also created a form http://socialsciencecentre.org.uk/join/, which
is still very much open for discussion. I'd very much appreciate any
suggestions on what to include in the form.

I've tested the monthly subscription myself and it works. I haven't
tested the donate button, but I assume it works. The form works by
adding information into an online spreadsheet that can be viewed by
myself and David Young (and whoever wants to help with membership stuff!
- please do volunteer)

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if a few people could run through the form and
if you intend to join, use it and go through the payment process,
please. Feedback is encouraged.
