[SSC] Fond farewell

As I hope the odd person has noticed, I've not been around much lately. I've
missed lots of meetings since the summer, almost always because of specific
commitments. As a result I've become gradually distanced from what's going
on.

 

Anyway, I'm afraid that although I've been slow to acknowledge it, I simply
don't have the time to commit to active engagement in SSC. I'd still be
happy to contribute a little on the teacher-scholar side in the future, if
my expertise and approach fit, but for now I need to recognise what is
already a fait accompli, that I'm no longer a part of this venture.

 

Hopefully I can keep in touch with what's going on. I admire the commitment
and energy going into the SSC, and wish you continued success.
