Dear all,
Earlier this week three SCC scholars - Sarah Amsler, Mike Ward and David McAleavey - appeared on my weekly Siren radio programme looking at the newspapers of the day, Behind the Headlines. It gave us a great opportunity to spread the SSC word. The recording of that show (minus the copyrighted musical interludes) will shortly be posted on the SSC website. After the event we thought how great it might be if SSC could have a regular slot on Siren (a community radio station based at the university). Siren's manager, Andrew David, likes the idea a lot. Attached is the proposal we intend to discuss at the next full meeting of SSC - at Revival, Sincil Street, Lincoln LN5 7ET (see http://www.revivallincolnshire.org/About-Us.htm), starting 12 noon on February 16. Hope you can get.
With best wishes,
Richard
