See attached and below for details of a conference on Co-operative 
Education organised by the Co-operative College.

Dear Colleague,

Just a quick note to remind you about the ‘Learning Together: 
Perspectives in Co-operative Education’ conference which the 
Co-operative College is organising on 9 December 2014 at the People’s 
History Museum in Manchester.

This will be an opportunity for practitioners and academics from all 
aspects of co-operative education to come together for an engaging and 
uplifting event that will explore different perspectives in co-operative 
education. With interactive workshops, panel discussions and keynote 
speakers, this event aims to spark discussion and debate and allow us to 
share best practice and learn together in the co-operative spirit.

Keynote speakers include Pauline Green, the President of the 
International Co-operative Alliance; Mervyn Wilson, the Principal, 
Co-operative College; and Saskia Neibig from the Woodcraft Folk, and the 
plenary sessions will be chaired by the Secretary General of 
Co-operative UK, Ed Mayo.

The programme will include a wide range of workshops organised under 
three strands:


·         Education about co-operatives

·         Education for co-operatives

·         Education in a co-operative way

There are a small number of bursaries available for students/unwaged/low
