[Ssf] Lat night's meeting

Hi Dan and all,
About stopping fortnightly meetings. I think in principle its a good idea.
I still want to be involved in SSF,but a factor in not attending meetings
at the mo, is something to do with where they are - fantastic that the hall
is big and free, but a bit dark and scarey to get to and from at night in
the winter. Other people (women?) may feel the same.
I suggest meeting maybe monthly in the city centre (Rutland?) I'd be willing
to look into booking if everyone thought it a good idea.
Also, I like the idea of having an annual launch type event where lots of
groups and campaigns get together, even if this doesn't lead to more
involvement in SSF, cos at least people get to meet and communicate. Its a
lot of hard work, tho'.
Maybe what is most appealing at the mo are smaller scale campaigns
(disability rights) and talking shops like Democracy cafe.
Love to everyone alice
