Following on from the article Chris forwarded, here's something 
happening on terminator seeds -

Canada is pushing - harder than Monsanto ever did, it seems - for 
terminator seeds to become a reality.

If you don't know about these, they're genetically modified so that no 
useable seeds will be produced.  One crop from one lot.  As the article 
says -

"These 'suicide seeds,' [are] designed solely to protect the patents and 
profits of multinational corporations, [and] are currently forbidden 
from being planted outside the lab."

It's so awful, it's almost impossible to believe - replace sustainable 
farming practiced and perfected for generations with monoculture, where 
farmers must buy new seeds every year...

I must concur with Chris: bunch of sticking capitalist twattymuffins. 
Lets blow shit up.
