Sadly enough, sad to think that this hypothesis exists,
that a country whose population, during the last 20 years or so, has
accepted an increasing, ever increasing level of surveillance (there
were no video cameras on any street corner before),
a country where persons are spied upon as nowhere else in the Continent,
with the exception perhaps of Germany, Switzerland and the Scandinavian
countries...
where 2/3 of population according to the Guardian agree with these bills
enforcing identity checks, anti-immigration measures and more surveillance,
because, according to the Guardian, "British people like a crack-down"
(but mind you, there are no crack downs lasting so many years, or aren't
they semantically impossible?),
where another high percentage of population did agree to go to war and
do agree not to stop the war, then it is logical to agree with the
hypothesis that such a country cannot wake up and rebel and dissent
against further surveillance in the new imperialist-fascist state,
because they don't see the need,
and therefore they deserve what they will get,
-- but this is a rant, feeling blue and brr brr brr it has snowed.
Btw, why there is no talk of contacting you MEPs? Only your MPs? What if
the latter are useless?
