This is a great country to live in when you see programs like the one on
torture by channel 4, quoted by two of us at least. Yes, then "paranoia"
(or better, fear) levels decrease, as long as there's hope and freedom
of speech; ah this might sound cynical, it's not, the guys who produced
that program are my true heroes, because it's against torture,

when I see Indymedia news going on... there is freedom and i can breathe
in such a space, and of course i am grateful.
And *CIRCA*'s offer and arrival seem an incredible gift.
:-)

Difficult to explain torture to children, to justify it would be simply
perverse. That's a good reason to protest at Jeight. And another reason:
to stop their next war.

But then, beware (:-)

(Iran is next on Ms. Condo's bombing agenda (or Syria perhaps?). We'll
still hear tons of stuff on its lack of freedom, dictatorship etc to
justify their next war. ... This is called soft power,
momentum-building. ) And if there is next war.

If the House of Lords approves the bills... we're done. If it doesn't,
then this is SOME country,
