Hi Fabio,

Thank you for your feedback. We are very interested in the output of your
meeting. We're really curious about what ideas you might have, and we'd be
delighted to have a back-and-forth with you about how to bring your ideas
to life, possibly with Printoo. We can also help with contacts and trying
to find the right places and technologies to prototype with.

Our key product will be the modules which we'll launch on kickstarter. We
also intend, along with our partners in this project, to provide the tools
and services for anyone to prototype with flexible electronics.

At this moment we don't have enough units to send out. We're prototyping
and refining the product. What we are planning to offer is a promotion to
hackerspaces and fab labs where if members of a certain FabLab pledge X,
we'll offer more devices extra to the hackerspace.

We don't know of 3D printers capable of already producing electronics... we
know there are people working on it. Our idea at this stage is to print the
circuits on a flexible substrate, assemble the electronics, and then insert
it into the 3D printed object, making use of its thinness and flexibility.

Best regards,

António Moreira

Hi Antonio,

looks like you're subscribed to the list so I am answering you right here.

We were just looking for a 3D printer for printed electronics...
I personally think this is awesome news what you are showing us,
thanks for having us involved.

We normally meet physically Saturdays. On next Saturday we'll start
a conversation on what we would, as you ask, "do with this platform".

We will also start an email thread through this same list,
but having the conversation in Spanish,
as not all of our members do communicate in English.

In the meanwhile, we would be interested to know if you would be able to
offer us some type of cooperation, like some kind of beta-testing program,
or having us have some device(s) over here for us to play with :)

A question arises at this point:
Are you actually offering printed elements only, or are you also
offering some kind of 3D printer which would be capable of printing those
objects?

I guess you also already thought of a business model...

Thank you again for contacting us,
let's see where we get from here :)

Best wishes

 Hi,

I'm writing you from a Printed Electronics start-up called Ynvisible. We´re
now working on a project called Printoo, an open-source, paper-thin,
flexible, and modular Arduino-compatible platform. Some of the modules
available with Printoo are novel Printed Electronics technologies never
before made available to the maker community.

We're going to launch Printoo on Kickstarter soon, but we'd like to show
you a preview beforehand:

We believe it is a great platform to easily and quickly create concepts for
smart-phone controlled vehicles (it comes with Bluetooth LE), smart
wearables, internet of things, interactive posters/cards, or even to give
life to 3D printed objects. We've begun showing it to Maker communities
close to us - at AltLab (Lisbon Hackerspace) and local FabLabs - and were
met with great enthusiasm which we hope you will share.

We'd love to have your feedback on this and most of all, we'd love to see
what you and the members of your hackerspace could do with this platform.
If you're interested, we'd love to present Printoo and talk a little bit
about Printed Electronics through Skype or Google Hangouts.

PS: Apologies if this project is not of interest to you. We will not send
you further emails other than as an eventual reply to an email from you.
Thanks!
