This is the organising list for the Durham Free Software Skill-Share project, or "dfs3" for short. Using dfs3
To post a message to all the list members, send email to dfs3@lists.aktivix.org. Subscription is open to all and the list is unmoderated, however each user's first post will be moderated, just to avoid spam. The list archives are public, so don't say anything unless you're happy for the whole world to read it, if they can be bothered. Please do not top-post. Bottom posting or interleaved style with judicious trimming is preferred. This is kind of an arbitrary decision, but if everyone on the list keeps to the same style it's much easier to follow. If you're not sure how involved you want to be, it's fine to lurk. Please introduce yourself briefly in your first post to the list. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to dfs3
Subscribe to dfs3 by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
