About Tacomapmr	English (USA)
Port Militarization Resistance (PMR) is a coalition of individuals coming together to take action against our community's complicity in imperialist wars overseas. The goal of PMR is to end our community's participation in the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan by stopping US military use of our ports. Actions taken under the banner of PMR include teach-ins, rallies, marches, blockades, and other non-violent civil disobedience actions. There are a variety of ways to be involved in actions being planned, and people from all walks of life with different levels of interest in civil disobedience actions are welcome to take part and to provide their own ideas for effective action to end America's illegal and immoral wars of occupation and domination. Those in power believe we will be complacent as they use our ports, our roads, and our cities as platforms to continue these wars and occupations. Let's show them they're wrong!
