Just because this is aktivix discuss and this is all interesting stuff
for other projects too, not because I'm proposing anyone do (or not do)
anything specific...

I heard on the grapevine the idea was to re-build lorea without elgg? Is
that so? Sounded like one of those big projects...

If people haven't tried out n-1.cc or lorea generally it's worth looking
at by the way.

For what it's worth, as ever, this can also be done with Drupal Organic
Groups and Mailhandler - but yet again it requires configuration, which
can be a pain.
I don't think Drupal Commons does it out the box (outgoing yes, incoming
no). I pretty sure that http://openatrium.com/ does however come with
both incoming and outgoing possibility out-the-box.

On the Mailman front (and integration with other software) has anyone
been following Mailman 3?
It's beta now! https://launchpad.net/mailman/3.0
Anyone tried installing it? Biggest change as far as I'm concerned is it
(should) have a REST API. But I think they've worked on all those other
more userfriendly front end things too (passwords, internationalisation
etc.)

Cheers,
