Dear colleagues,

I take advantage of this user list to make the announcement of the 
release of FREE software that may be of some interest to scholars 
working on issues of social movements and protest events.

After a few years of development, I have completed the Windows 
release of PC-ACE (Program for Computer-Assisted Coding of Events). 
The software is available for free download at www.pc-ace.com. It is a 
good research tool for scholars who collect data from textual narrative 
sources. I hope you may find it of some use.
