On that note (security).... please would people refrain from including
individuals email addresses in cc: fields on messages sent to mailing
lists. The email addresses included in cc fields are visible to
everybody on the mailing lists while those on the mailing lists are
thankfully able to remain anonymous to all the other people who
receive the email. It is simple note acceptable to expose peoples
email address in this way!
If you really need to include people who you know are not on the list
you are emailing then forward a copy to them individually or use the
bcc field. While I'm at it, ask yourself whether an individual would
want to receive your plain text message knowing it is likely to have
been read by the cops.
