I was thinking we could meet up either fortnightly or monthly, and
check in with each other by email in between meetings in order to keep
each other focussed.

How would it sound to you all if I said meet at my house next Thursday
evening, bring your own computers and try to get to the end of
exercise 3 by then? That way we'll get an idea of what pace we should
set, and there'd be enough time for other people to join in too.

Is next Thursday evening OK for you all? Say 7.30 to 9.00-ish?
