so its the creation of a script on startup I guess. Just wanted to know
if there was any other way of making a call to the syslog data for
specific applications.
The reason I ask this is from a security context. If someone were to use
my pc and email client to send malware (for example, to a friend or
client) then the source path would be good and they would always
consider me as a safe sender.
So I startup, send the email with malware, delete the email I've sent
and I'm non the wiser that my machine has been used to hack.
