[FlyingBrickAnnouncements] Alternative Black History Month!

Hello friends! At the volunteer meeting yesterday, I volunteered to
bottomline the Black History Month event for this year. Last years's event
consisted of a multi-media/discussion based event: folks read excerpts from
Audre Lorde's Sister Outsider, youtube clips were shown (bell hooks, nikki
giovanni, amina wadud, et.al), and we all had a discussion about what black
history month meant to us, as well as what race means to each of us in our
daily lives.

This year's event will probably play out in a similar manner. I am super
open to any ideas for the event; I would love some help and company so if
you're up for it feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone (571 501 3613).
