I decided out IRC meeting needs some minutes. I'd like to get them
approved please. Anyone who was at the last meeting, please state if
you believe this to be a good record of what was decided. Do check the
IRC log for corroboration:

Sorting out how links to web documentation
==========================================
It was agreed that we need a system to link to external documentation,
since the links in the last leaflet have been rendered invalid. A
number of proposals were aired, but no consensus was reached. This
point needs further discussion and conclusion coming to, or atleast an
interim discussion.

Review of current quality levels.
===========================
Not everyone agreed with the value of reviewing current content, but
were happy for others to continue.
* Marker, beth and BenG said they would take on doing some reviews.

Agree / restate what the target audience is for TTfA
==============================================
*It was agreed that the booklet was for "People who want to use IT /
tech tools in their political activity"
This change was made to the flossmanuals notes section.

Should each article have a common structure? If so, what? (penguin)
============================================
*We agreed on the following structure for each section of the booklet:

    Bulleted intro ->
    real life story ->
    why is this an issue & what you can do ->
    what next (find out more & how to do it)

Should there be more kittens in the booklet?
=====================================
We agreed we wanted more pictures in the booklet of a high quality.
We agreed that there should be at least on kitten in the booklet, and
that perhaps it could be kitten themed.

Further Action Points.
=========================================================
* Penguin agreed to have a go a putting existing stuff into a more
common format as discussed [see above].
* Penguin knows couple of artists that might be up for doing stuff and
will continue to buy them beer.
* BenG agreed to publicise our style guide enhancenments and write
them up properly in the notes section on Flossmanuals.
* BenG agreed to continue to look at publishing it with Scribus and
automatic porting from FLOSS manuals.
* beth will continue proof-reading.
* BenG will continue to look at the re-direction things with Mike

The following tasks had no takers:
* Make a resources list
* Make a participants list

Cheers,
==
