Well CiviCRM runs on Drupal, so it's Drupal but with a plugin module
that does all the contact management stuff. It would be suitable for a
public directory site really. CiviCRM is a very complete solution and
you'd probably use about 15% of it, but it's got all you need in it,
whereas a vanilla Drupal install will just be a Drupal install. If you
only need a few features then that might be sufficient.

I personally dislike Crabgrass. I tried it, advocated it, and really
feel it's cumbersome to use. But if you want a private contact space,
then it's online and ready to use, so best way to go.

I'll be at the movement support gathering and would be up for spending
an hour with you demonstrating and assessing the various options and
your requirements.
